About Andrew

Hi!!! My name is Andrew Mackay. I'm 16, and I live on the wonderful island country of Puerto Rico. My parents are missionaries here at the Escuela Evangelica para los Sordos (Evangelical School for the Deaf). I've lived here for 6 years, and I love Puerto Rico! Unfortunately my Spanish is horrible (I know, shameful, ain't it?) but, I'm trying to learn. I was born in Oshawa Ontario, Canada (the land of winter!). I am a born again Christian, which is a big part of my life.

I am currently trying to learn how to play the guitar, and I LOVE music. My favorite (currently at least) bands are Smalltown Poets, Caedmon's Call, and DC Talk (The Jesus Freak CD especially). Um, stylistically (is that a word?) I like Folk-rock, alternative, and some pop/rock. I also listen to all kinds of Christian Contemporary (Keith Green was the MAN!!!). As for sports, I love hockey. Hockey is the best sport ever!!! I am a big Maple Leafs fan, I Love My Leafs!

unfortunately my second favorite team beat them in the Semifinals. So, now I hope Buffalo tramples all over Dallas. I am a student of NorthStar Academy, over the internet. It's a very cool program, and if you are homeschooling a child, I suggest you check it out. Thats about all for now. Thanks for reading it!
